Rural Health Financial Services, a provider of business office billing and financial software to U.S. critical access, rural community and independent hospitals, has entered a strategic partnership with Data Systems Management, a Clinton, Miss.-based software and services company, the companies announced April 23.
Under the partnership, Rural Health’s sales, implementation and support services will combine with DSM’s advanced billing system and clearinghouse services.
Company officials said Rural Health’s bankruptcy practice — which works closely with hospital chief restructuring officers and bankruptcy trustees — will now use DSM’s claims clearinghouse to help struggling facilities improve their financial picture.
