Revenue cycle company to create 200 jobs in Tennessee

Xtend Healthcare, a provider of healthcare revenue cycle solutions, plans to invest $1.3 million and create 200 jobs in Hendersonville, Tenn., where it is based, the company announced June 24.

Xtend is a subsidiary of Navient with more than 700 employees in Tennessee and more than 1,000 employees globally. It offers revenue cycle solutions, such as partial revenue cycle outsourcing and third-party insurance follow up, for hospitals, physicians and other healthcare providers.

"Tennessee provides an excellent labor force with healthcare expertise that has accelerated our growth at Xtend Healthcare," Daniel Brooks, the company's chief business development officer, said in a news release. "Our high-quality employees are the reason we are able to serve health systems from coast to coast, and we are excited to welcome new Tennesseans to our team as our growth continues."
