Jamestown (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center has chosen Evident to provide its EHR services and TruBridge for revenue cycle management and cloud hosting.
The decision comes after Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems sold the 85-bed hospital to West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Rennova Health on June 1. The hospital reevaluated its technology needs following the acquisition, as it sought to address the difficulties of using multiple, disparate systems, according to a news release.
"It was clear to us that we needed one complete and fully integrated EHR system that could connect patient clinical and financial data across all points of care, including emergency room, inpatient and the clinic environments," said Lynette Pritchett Evans, CEO of the medical center. "Having one comprehensive EHR will create greater efficiency and accuracy in retrieving patient information, saving our staff valuable time and offering the patients we serve a better quality experience. It's exciting to have a system that gives us these much-needed capabilities to manage care in our community."
The hospital is slated to go live with the offerings in December.
