Resources for a more consumer-friendly revenue cycle should revolve around customer service and personalization, said Chris Ritchie, strategic account executive at healthcare software company Olive.
He said patients are gaining knowledge and expect a more personalized healthcare experience like the consumer experience in other industries.
"First think how your current staff can be repositioned to give that personal care in the roles that require more of a human touch and how do you leverage technology to take the work off their plate to make that happen," said Mr. Ritchie.
