Healthcare revenue cycle management companies Aspirion Health Resources and Specialized Healthcare Partners are combining into one organization that will serve 369 hospitals in 31 states, company officials announced Aug. 15.
Both companies work in revenue cycle management, but Specialized Healthcare Partners specifically focuses on resolving claim denials.
Through the transaction, Aspirion will add denials to its platform.
Company officials said Aspirion's solution suite will include complex denial, motor vehicle accident, worker’s compensation and out-of-state Medicaid collections, among other offerings.
Tracy and Patrick Lutz, co-founders of Specialized Healthcare Partners, will join Aspirion's leadership team.
