All of the five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices decrease last week.
Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals' share price was down 3.9 percent, the most of any of the for-profit hospital operators last week.
- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $53.81 per share (down 2.3 percent)
- Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $73.95 per share (down 1.18 percent)
- LifePoint Hospitals (Brentwood, Tenn.): $71.10 per share (down 3.9 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare Corp. (Dallas): $50.16 per share (down 2.32 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $110.60 per share (down 1.57 percent)
