LifeCare is closing its long-term care hospital in Wilkinsburg, Pa., in September, according to Pittsburgh news station WESA.
Three things to know:
1. The 85-bed long-term care hospital has been operating under capacity, averaging 18 patients per day a spokesperson told WESA.
2. The closure will affect more than 230 full and part-time employees.
3. LifeCare is closing the facility roughly two months after its parent company Hospital Acquisitions filed for bankruptcy, according to the report.
