Navigant Consulting in Chicago and Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida created a revenue cycle management joint venture.
Here are three things to know.
1. Navigant manages RCM solutions via its subsidiary Navigant Cymetrix, while BHSF is a nonprofit system with approximately 19,500 employees and more than 3,000 physicians.
2. The joint venture is designed to offer revenue cycle service to healthcare organizations, beginning with BHSF, according to a news release.
3. Both entities anticipate the new company will be operational this summer. They plan to reveal additional details about the joint venture at a later time.
