Munson Healthcare implements solution for call center, in-person payments

Traverse City, Mich.-based Munson Healthcare aims to protect patient payments through the newly implemented OnPlan/Bluefin Payment Card Industry-validated point-to-point encryption solution.

The nine-hospital health system implemented the solution for its call center and in-person payments. OnPlan Health's solution, powered by Bluefin Payment Systems, is designed to help secure patient credit and debit card payments from malware.

Munson also previously implemented OnPlan Health's cloud-based payment support solution.
