Moody's Investors Service revised Baton Rouge, La.-based Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System's outlook to stable from negative. Concurrently the credit rating agency affirmed the health system's "A2" rating.
The affirmation is a result of the health system's improving operating performance, strong liquidity and favorable market position. Moody's also acknowledged the health system's sizable debt and unfavorable geographic area prone to natural disasters.
The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody's expectation that the hospital will sustain improved operating margins in fiscal year 2018.
