Moody's Investors Service has downgraded its rating for Milford (Mass.) Regional Medical Center from "Ba1" to "Ba2," affecting $102 million of rated debt.
The downgrade is based on Moody's expectation that the hospital will maintain high financial leverage and operate with declining and moderate cash levels. It also reflects the hospital's small size in a competitive Greater Boston market.
The rating outlook is stable.
