Moody's Investors Service has changed Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems' outlook from stable to developing.
The outlook change reflects Moody's Investors Service's uncertainty about the outcome of CHS' strategic review.
Moody's also affirmed CHS' existing ratings, including its "B2" corporate family rating and "B2-PD" probability of default rating.
The actions follow CHS' announcement that it is exploring a variety of options with financial sponsors.
