Moody's assigns, upgrades UC Health's rating to 'A2'

Moody's Investors Service has assigned an "A2" rating to University of Cincinnati Health's proposed $210 million of series 2016 bonds and upgraded the rating to "A2" from "A3" on $176 million of UC Health's debt.

The rating upgrade is based on a number of factors, including UC Health's strong enterprise growth and market position as the only academic medical center in the Cincinnati region.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody's Investors Service's expectations that UC Health's growth strategies will support sustainable margins and its manageable capital spending will allow further liquidity growth.
