Moody's Investors Service has assigned an "A2" rating to $17.6 million of series O hospital revenue bonds issued on behalf of Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, Conn.
The rating assignment was based on a number of factors, including the hospitals leading market share and consistently good financial performance.
Middlesex Hospital also faces some challenges, which were considered for the rating assignment, such as experiencing slow revenue growth.
The hospital's outlook is stable.
