Moody's Investors Service has affirmed Corinth, Miss.-based Magnolia Regional Health Center's "Baa2" rating, affecting $80 million of outstanding revenue bonds.
The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including MRHC's continued stable operating performance and its strong market position in northeastern Mississippi.
MRHC also faces several challenges, including a challenging payer mix and a leveraged balance sheet.
The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody's Investors Service's expectation that strong operating performance will continue and balance sheet metrics will remain in line with MRHC's "Baa2"-rated peers.
