Moody's Investors Service has affirmed the "A1" rating assigned to Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network's outstanding bonds.
The rating affirmation was supported by a number of factors, including the system's strong and growing investment portfolio and projected operating cash flow.
The system also faces some challenges, which were considered for the rating affirmation, such as operating in an increasingly competitive and consolidating healthcare market.
