Moody's affirms 'Aa3' rating on SCL Health

Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "Aa3" and "Aa3/VMIG 1" rating on Broomfield, Colo.-based Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System, affecting $1.2 billion of debt.

The long-term rating affirmation is a result of several factors, including SCL Health's healthy operating performance, improved balance sheet metrics and low capital spending.

The short-term rating affirmation is a result of SCL's sufficient liquidity measures and procedures in place to support the tender of a bond if necessary.

The outlook is stable reflecting Moody's expectation that SCL's strong operating performance will continue.
