Mid-year report: 43 hospital, health system CFO moves so far in 2015

The following is a compilation of all the hospital and health system CFO moves reported by Becker's Hospital Review as of June 1, starting with the most recent.

1. Sterling (Colo.) Regional MedCenter, part of Phoenix-based Banner Health, hired Tiffany Weber as the facility's new CFO.

2. Woodrow W. Hathaway Jr., CFO of Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison, Ohio, retired after working 41 years in healthcare.

3. Wesley West was chosen as interim CFO of East Liverpool, Ohio-based River Valley Health Partners.

4. Moses Lake, Wash.-based Samaritan Healthcare named Paul Ishizuka interim CFO.

5. Denver-based Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and Denver-based Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children named Shari Collier CFO.

6. Terre Haute (Ind.) Regional Medical Center named Jeff Daneff CFO.

7. Brookfield-based Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin named Barclay Ferguson CFO.

8. Smyrna, Tenn.-based TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center named Trey Schablik CFO.

9. Ellington-based Missouri Highlands Health Care appointed John Canterberry CFO.

10. Kevin Walstrom, Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth's CFO, resigned from his position.

11. Medical Center of McKinney (Texas) named Aaron Rowe CFO.

12. Ste. Genevieve (Mo.) County Memorial Hospital named Jon Branstetter CFO.

13. Hattiesburg, Miss.-based Wesley Medical Center appointed Warren Ladner CFO.

14. Estes Park (Colo.) Medical Center named Ryan D. White CFO.

15. Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy Health named Gary Raju CFO for Mercy West Region, effective April 1.

16. East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colo., part of Phoenix-based Banner Health, named Edith Pemberton as its new CFO.

17. Mike Rutherford, CFO of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., departed from the medical center after serving in his role for just over one year. Chad Eckes, vice president and CIO of the medical center, was named executive vice president and CFO in Mr. Rutherford's place.

18. Denver-based DaVita HealthCare Partners CFO Garry Menzel announced his resignation.

19. Penn State Milton S. Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center named Stephen Massini, former chief administrative officer of Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System, as CFO.

20. The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit appointed Brian Gamble as its executive vice president and CFO.

21. Mark Harrison was named CFO of UC San Diego Health Sciences.

22. Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Mo., named Barry Chambers CFO.

23. Annapolis, Md.-based RiverMend Health announced the appointment of Jennifer Hall as CFO.

24. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and Stanford Children's Health in Palo Alto, Calif., named Dana Haering CFO.

25. Fayetteville, Tenn.-based Lincoln County Health System named Bailey Pratt interim CFO.

26. St. Charles Health System, based in Bend, Ore., named Jennifer Welander CFO.

27. Amarillo, Texas-based BSA Health System named Lorenzo Olivarez Jr. CFO.

28. Indianapolis-based St. Vincent Health, part of St. Louis-based Ascension Health, named Cheryl Harmon CFO.

29. Southwest General Hospital in San Antonio appointed Colin B. Brooks as CFO.

30 Riverton, Wyo.-based SageWest Health Care, part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health, named Jennifer Hamilton CFO of SageWest's hospitals in Riverton and Lander, Wyo.

31. Cooperstown, N.Y.-based Bassett Healthcare Network named Michael Tengeres corporate vice president and CFO.

32. Sullivan (Ind.) County Community Hospital named Scott Andritsch CFO.

33. Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System announced the promotion of David Smith, former CFO of Memorial Regional Hospital, to senior vice president and CFO of Memorial Healthcare System.

34. Hancock, Mich.-based Upper Peninsula Health System-Portage named Steve Bishop CFO.

35. Washington, D.C.-based HSC Health Care System announced the appointment of Raymond Vicks as deputy CFO.

36. University of Missouri Health Care and the MU School of Medicine in Columbia named Brian D. Steines CFO

37. Andrew Cantu was named the new CFO of Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, Calif., and assumed his role Feb. 9.

38. Pam Stieb stepped down as CFO of Sterling (Colo.) Regional MedCenter, part of Phoenix-based Banner Health, at the end of January, after being with the organization for 28 years.

39. Emerson Hospital in Concord, Mass., announced the appointment of Michael Hachey as senior vice president and CFO.

40. Hartford, Conn.-based Saint Francis Care promoted senior vice president of finance David Bittner to CFO.

41. Jackson, Miss.-based University of Mississippi Medical Center's University Hospitals and Health System named Brad Sinclair CFO.

42. Edgewood, Ky.-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare named Lori Ritchey-Baldwin CFO.

43. Anniston, Ala.-based Regional Medical Center promoted its CFO, Louis Bass, to CEO and promoted Mark North to vice president of finance and CFO of RMC.
