Rockford, Ill.-based Mercyhealth has been upgraded to "A2" amid consistently strong margins and liquidity, Moody's said Nov. 8.
Despite strong regional competition and elevated debt, the seven-hospital system is expected to maintain its performance, Moody's said. The outlook was revised to stable from positive at the new rating.
Mercyhealth, with annual revenue of approximately $1.2 billion, was also upgraded in February by Fitch Ratings.
