Sunrise, Fla.-based national medical group Mednax will bring on R1 RCM as its revenue cycle management provider, the companies announced May 17.
The agreement was made to improve the patient experience as well as the clinical, financial and operational performance at Mednax and its hospital partners. R1 will provide end-to-end RCM services that use intelligent automation, data analytics and technical expertise to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

"Our collaboration is designed to ensure consistency across our revenue cycle operations and enable meaningful operating expense reduction both near term and going forward. R1’s technology investments and prowess give our affiliated clinicians capabilities we could never match."
