Mediware Information Systems, a provider of healthcare and human services software, acquired revenue cycle solutions provider MEDTranDirect.
Here are three things to know about the transaction.
1. Through the acquisition, Mediware enhances the revenue cycle and Medicare claims processing capabilities currently found in its home care market solution, Kinnser Software, the companies said in a news release.
2. The acquisition will integrate MEDTranDirect's capabilities with other Mediware software products as well.
3. Mediware CEO Bill Miller said of the deal: "With the addition of MEDTranDirect to our portfolio, we are extending our software's capability to help home care customers support, sustain and grow their businesses by overcoming the increasing challenges of Medicare reimbursement and revenue flow."
