MedData, a revenue cycle management solutions provider, hired COO Emily Fisher as acting president.
Here are three things to know about Ms. Fisher:
1. Her tenure at MedData spans more than 16 years. She served as patient advocate before becoming COO in 2016.
2. During Ms. Fisher's tenure at MedData, she developed a knowledge of company operations and high-level leadership experience, according to company officials. She specifically played a key role in turning the company's government and charity programs into a full-service solution that assesses patient eligibility for available federal, state, county and charity resources.
3. Ms. Fisher will take over for President and CEO Ann Barnes, who is leaving MedData on June 15.
