Watford City, N.D.-based McKenzie County Healthcare Systems is constructing a medical campus in Watford City, according to a Prairie Business report.
The 120,000-square-foot campus will combine the health system's hospital, clinic and long-term care facility into one location. The hospital also plans to expand the number of emergency room bays from one to eight.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture approved a $39.2 million loan for the project, which will finance about 70 percent of the project, according to the report.
