The merger of healthcare services company mCare Solutions and revenue cycle solutions provider Vaughan Holland Consulting created a combined company called Revint Solutions.
Chicago-based Revint, which focuses on healthcare revenue integrity and recovery services solutions, serves more than 450 hospitals and healthcare delivery systems nationwide.
"We exist in an environment where there are increasing complexities and unprecedented reimbursement stress," said Lloyd Vaughan, executive chairman at Revint. "This combined with demographic change, regulatory uncertainty and changing venues of care, make this a perfect storm for leakage in the revenue cycle. Revint Solutions was formed to ensure that our clients are paid fully and fairly for services provided."
Offerings from Revint include revenue integrity products such as Transfer DRG, Outpatient Revenue Recovery, IME/Shadow Claim Review and Payer Search, according to the company. Officials said the company will also offers solutions for Underpayment Recovery and DRG Validation.
