Mayo Clinic on Dec. 12 will permanently close its clinic at Ridgeview (Minn.) Le Sueur Campus, according to The Mankato Free Press.
Ridgeview had been leasing the space Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic since 2018. After a non-renewable lease expired Aug. 31, both parties agreed to a Dec. 12 departure date.
The move will allow Ridgeview to expand its clinics, with Mayo staff transitioning to other clinic locations in the region, according to the report.
"Our growing team of primary and specialty providers, nurses and support staff is dedicated to providing more local healthcare to patients and residents in the Le Sueur community," Ridgeview COO Ben Nielse said, according to the report. "We've recently expanded our Le Sueur Campus services to include internal medicine, wound care and more, and look forward to bringing additional specialty providers to the local campus."
