Portland, Ore.-based Legacy Health saw revenue and operating income climb in fiscal year 2019, according to recently released financial documents.
The nonprofit integrated healthcare delivery system reported total operating revenue of $2.22 billion in the year ended March 31, up 4.8 percent from $2.12 billion in the year prior. The growth was partially due to increases in net patient service revenue and capitation revenue.
At the same time, the system's expenses increased 4.2 percent year over year, from $2.07 billion to $2.16 billion.
Legacy Health ended fiscal year 2019 with operating income of $59.4 million, up 31.9 percent from $45 million the year prior.
After incorporating nonoperating income, the system's net income totaled $103.5 million in the year ended March 31, up 3.3 percent year over year from $100.2 million.
