CMS is threatening to cut off Medicare funding to Greensburg, Ky.-based Jane Todd Crawford Hospital Nov.17 unless it resolves non-compliance issues.
Federal regulators cited problems with organizational structure, staffing levels, staff responsibilities and failure to meet requirements for critical access providers of long-term care. The specific details regarding the issues have yet to be released.
