Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare will use R1 RCM's Revenue Capture module systemwide.
The arrangement expands R1 RCM's relationship with the 22-hospital nonprofit system.
"It is important for our health system and our patients that we keep pace with the ongoing changes in healthcare," said Todd Craghead, vice president of revenue cycle for Intermountain Healthcare. "R1 has been a longstanding revenue cycle partner and we are pleased to extend this relationship in the critical area of revenue integrity with the Revenue Capture module. We selected R1 for their breadth of capabilities and integration with our current hospital practices. We are nearing the end of a systemwide conversion and needed a revenue integrity solution that could be quickly implemented across our health system in order to make certain that we are compliantly capturing revenue inside of the newly implemented patient accounting system."
