In a 228-199 vote, House Republicans adopted a 2016 budget on Wednesday, according to a report from The Hill.
The budget calls for transforming Medicare into a "premium support model," which would partially privatize the government program.
The budget also calls for significant changes to the Medicaid program by transforming it into a block grant program.
