Hospital Reimbursement Rates Increase 2.2% in 2012

In 2012, hospitals' reimbursements rates rose 2.2 percent year-over-year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The BLS reported the figures through its Produce Price Index, which measures the average change in prices organizations receive for their services. For hospitals, this encompasses overall reimbursement.

According to the PPI for 2011, hospital reimbursements increased 2.5 percent.
