The Healthcare Financial Management Association's MAP App clients have a new data service at their disposal.
Here are three things to know about the service.
1. The service, offered by Med-Metrix, is available to MAP App subscribers. The web-based app includes key performance metrics designed to help healthcare organizations improve revenue cycle management performance, according to a news release.
2. Through the service, MAP App subscribers have Med-Metrix data integration services available to them "to help automate their monthly data extract," the release states.
3. HFMA President and CEO Joseph Fifer expressed excitement about the service, saying, "Med-Metrix data integration service will streamline the process of submitting data to MAP App, helping our subscribers accurately compare their performance to peer groups and the industry and align their goals with the industry’s best practices."
