HCA set to join S&P 500

After the close of trading Monday, Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America will replace Safeway in the S&P 500.

HCA will be added to the S&P 500 Global Industry Classification Standard Health Care Facilities Sub-Industry index.

HCA has started this year off strong and announced earlier this month it expects its adjusted EBITDA for 2014 to exceed its previously issued guidance range.
