Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare's board of directors authorized a $0.66 per share cash dividend to be paid on Sept. 30.
The dividend will be paid to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on Sept. 16, according to a July 23 HCA news release.
HCA released its second quarter earnings report on July 23. The 188-hospital for-profit system posted a net income of $1.5 billion in the three months ended June 30, up from $1.2 billion over the same period in 2023.
