Melrose Park, Ill.-based Gottlieb Memorial Hospital received a $12.8 million pledge from the Gottlieb Memorial Foundation to help fund its emergency department renovation.
The proposed ED renovation project will create a new fast-track area, waiting room and psychiatric bay. GMH will also renovate its treatment and observation units and install enhanced security measures and disaster preparedness features.
"We are grateful to the Gottlieb Memorial Foundation for their generous gift," said Larry M. Goldberg, president & CEO, Loyola University Health System, which is affiliated with GMH. "Thanks to this donation, we can improve patient experience and quality outcomes, further integrate technology and encourage outreach to this community with a large senior population."
