Revenue cycle management company SimiTree has named Mike Brents managing director of technology consulting.
Mr. Brents joins from Milford, Ohio-based CommonSpirit Health at Home, where he served as chief clinical officer and vice president of informatics, according to a July 29 SimiTree news release.
At SimiTree, Mr. Brents will lead a team of behavioral and post-acute subject matter experts who will select, implement and optimize EHR and related technology solutions to best meet the unique needs of each healthcare organization, according to the release.
"With a deep understanding of provider needs gained from his role overseeing technology and data at CommonSpirit, Mike brings a unique perspective to SimiTree," Rob Simione, the RCM company's senior vice president, said in the release.
