Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest decrease in share price at 8.4 percent.
Here's how the five operators stacked up as of Oct. 12:
- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $2.62 per share (down 6.4 percent)
- HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $133.86 per share (down 3.7 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $64.40 per share (up 0.02 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $25.39 per share (down 8.4 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $122.54 per share (down 2.2 percent)
