For-profit hospital stock report: Week of Oct. 25

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest increase, 7.2 percent.

Here's how the major four operators stacked up as of Oct. 25:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $4.47 per share (up 7.2 percent).
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $126.27 per share (up 2.1 percent).
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $24.65 per share (up 3.5 percent).
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $137.93 per share (down 5.6 percent).
