Four of the five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare saw the greatest increase in share price at 7.1 percent.
Here's how the five operators stacked up as of Nov. 9:
- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.79 per share (up 5.3 percent)
- HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $143.95 per share (up 7.1 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $64.88 per share (up 0.05 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $26.29 per share (down 3.2 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $131.49 per share (up 6.5 percent)
