Among the major for-profit hospital operators, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase in share price at 3.7 percent.

- HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $77.19 per share (up 2.6 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $45.25 per share (up 3.5 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $13.73 per share (up 3.7 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $100.46 per share (up 3.3 percent)
