For-profit hospital stock report: Week of May 6-10

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest decrease, 3.8 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of May 10:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.45 per share (up 2.4 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $123.75 per share (down 1.5 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $20.59 per share (down 3.8 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $122.79 per share (down 0.2 percent)
