All five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the largest increase in share price, with shares rising 8.9 percent last week.
Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw its share price rise 3.5 percent last week, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.

- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $18.67 per share (up 8.9 percent)
- Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $79.20 per share (up 3.7 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $69.16 per share (up 5.3 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $28.89 per share (up 3.5 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $117.91 per share (up 6.3 percent)
