For-profit hospital stock report: Week of March 25-29

Four major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest decrease of 13.7 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of March 29:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.73 per share (down 13.7 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $130.38 per share (down 3 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $28.84 per share (down 1 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $133.77 per share (down 1.1 percent)
