Among the major for-profit hospital operators, Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest increase in share price at 3.3 percent.
How the five operators stacked up as of June 15:
- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $4.41 per share (up 3.3 percent)
- HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $106.55 per share (up 1.1 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $54.25 per share (down 1.4 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $36.32 per share (down 1.3 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $115.51 per share (up 0.2 percent)
