Among the major for-profit hospital operators, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase in share price at 6.2 percent.

- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $5.22 per share (up 1.4 percent)
- HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $93.04 per share (up 4.8 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $48.20 per share (down 3 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $17.25 per share (up 6.2 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $118.06 per share (up 1.2 percent)
