All five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stocks rise last week.
Shares of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services were up 2.80 percent last week, the most of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.

- Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $69.80 per share (up 1.82 percent)
- LifePoint Hospitals (Brentwood, Tenn.): $70.18 per share (up 1.65 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare Corp. (Dallas): $44.86 per share (up 1.24 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $107.85 per share (up 2.80 percent)
