For-profit hospital stock report: Week of April 1-5

Four major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase, 8.1 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of April 5:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.74 per share (up 0.3 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $134.08 per share (up 2.8 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $31.19 per share (up 8.1 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $134.72 per share (up 0.7 percent)
