Fitch Ratings assigned a "BB+" issuer default rating to Hopkinsville, Ky.-based Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
The rating reflects the hospital's weaker leverage position, though its weak balance sheet is partly offset by Jennie Stuart Medical Center's leading local market position and recently improved operating performance.
The rating outlook is stable.
