Fitch Ratings affirmed its "A+" rating on Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Gwinnett Hospital System's series 2007A-D, affecting $132 million of debt.
The affirmation is a result of several factors, including the hospital system's strong market position, good liquidity metrics and potential merger with Atlanta-based Northside Hospital. Fitch also acknowledged Gwinnett Hospital System's weaker profit margins and light debt coverage in fiscal year 2017.
The outlook is stable.
