Seven things to know:
1. Ooda Health's digital platform enables real-time claims payments between payers and providers.

3. Ooda Health and Dignity Health leaders said the partnership will offer multiple benefits, including resolving claim conflicts and making the billing process more efficient.
4. Lloyd Dean, president and CEO of Dignity Health, said: "We believe Ooda Health's technology will help us better connect with our payer partners in the interest of better serving our patients. This digital collaboration will allow physicians to devote more time to care and help patients focus on their healing — without the stress of anticipating a confusing medical bill."
5. Seth Cohen, co-founder, president and COO of Ooda Health, said: "We are proud to work with Dignity Health to help their patients experience the ease of a simplified and automated claims-processing model."
6. While Dignity Health will pilot Ooda Health's technology in Arizona and California hospitals, it said it aims to eventually integrate and scale the technology across its 39-hospital network.
7. The partnership comes as Ooda Health completed a $40.5 million funding round, led by Oak HC/FT and DFJ Venture Capital. The company said it will use the funding to combat inefficiency and waste in healthcare administration and payment processes.
