Connecticut Hospitals to Oppose $550M in Provider Cuts

Following lawmakers' proposal to cut $550 million from hospitals in the governor's budget, the Connecticut Hospital Association announced it would lead a demonstration at the state capitol in Hartford today.

According to a CHA release, Gov. Dannel Malloy's budget would cause hospitals to cut jobs and services that would disproportionately impact the poor, as well as drive costs higher for businesses and consumers.
